We felt flooded with love this day when Rosy and Vicky said yes. Both have family from Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy, but live together in Melbourne, Australia. So, international guests with multiple nationalities came to join this festival of love.
To celebrate their wedding, Rosy and Vicky spent the weekend with their loved ones at Gut Frohberg. Both had their getting ready at the location in two separate rooms. Rosy’s friends helped her to dress and keep a cool head. Vicky had a very calm and intimate time with her mother.
The first look on the terrace let the first tears drop. Together they walked towards their waiting guests, hand in hand with sunglasses and surrounded by lots of kids. A beautiful, emotional ceremony was held by Vicky’s mother and many friends had a chance to say a few words. Symbolic rituals like mixing spices and braiding colorful scarfs stood for the meaning of the friends and families of both sides who now got connected through the wedding.
After the ceremony, the two ran through the rows of guests and received roaring shouts of love, thousands of kisses and hugs. It was time to cut the cake – emmm, we meant… time to get the first Berliner from the pyramid of Berliners.
We captured many beautiful moments, until even the cleaning ladies hit the dance floor. Rosy and Vicky managed to involve really everybody in their celebration of love and liberty and make everyone feel like family. The more we got to know them, we realized how loving, positive and supportive these two are. They are definitely a couple we won’t forget so fast.
