The colorful farm for kids was the dream wedding location for Sarah and Richard who are parents themselves. With the goose, pigs, goats and pony riding, this location was also a dream for the around 30 kids who joined the wedding.
Both got ready in two separate small and cozy rooms of the farm house between bunk beds and their close friends. Sarah’s dad walked her towards the outside ceremony place where Richard was waiting. When he saw his bride arriving, some tears ran down his cheeks. These two just belong together. The symbolic ceremony was held by wedding speaker Nora Gondrow. Her speech made us smile, giggle and fall in love with this great couple.
And with so many kids, of course there had to be a planned nap break in the noon time to keep everyone happy. Surely, the adults were not so unhappy about it on this warm summer day. Not a bad idea.
The day went on with even more energy, laughter and fun.
When we went for the couple shooting, we chose the place where the goats and goose were roaming freely. First very calm and sweet, the goats quickly turned into bouquet hunting beasts. How could we know that from all the available food they had, they longed for the bridal bouquet? It resulted in a scary moment, when Maria ran away with the bouquet followed by all the goats who seemed hungry, but fortunately stayed peaceful. Without the bouquet we could continue our shooting as planned. We had a wonderful sunset between goats which was hard to beat. And additionally, we learned our lesson about goats and will always have a fun story to tell.
We’ll never forget this wedding for sure!
